Some things to know about Macbeth for your exam:

-Use of paradox and verbal and dramatic irony. (See Act 2 Scene 3, lines 86-164)

-Find some examples of lines in the play that speak of the natural order of things being disrupted, and at the play's end, restored to the natural state. These may be references to unnatural events or to time being disrupted.

-Description of personalities of the characters in the play, and which character changed

-Think about Lady Macbeth's character. How did she unravel as the play went on?
How do we know she did?

-How do we also know that Macbeth was moving towards madness? How and why did he change?

-The setting of the play, and why it's important

-Know important quotes from the play (see other wiki page)

-Know how to recognize an heroic couplet; know the difference between an heroic couplet and any other couplet
